The Council welcomes petitions and recognises that petitions are an important way in which people can let us know their concerns.
This system allows you to create and sign petitions online. The system also includes details of paper petitions submitted to the Council and its response.

You can view detailed information about a petition, find out how many other people have signed it and add your own signature in support. If you sign an e-petition on this website your name and town will be published. |

If you would like to create an e-petition, you will need to register as a lead petitioner. You can then write, keep track of and submit your petition. The Council has adopted a Petitions Scheme which provides guidance on how the Council will respond to different types of petition. You are recommended to read the Scheme before submitting a petition.
